Dear Families,

My name is Courtney Weber and I am the principal at Highland Pacific Elementary School.  I grew up in San Bernardino and am a product of SBCUSD schools. I began my professional journey in education as a custodian in the 'Grow Your Own' program.  At the time, the district would reimburse the tuition of any classified employee who agreed to teach for one year in SBCUSD. I had planned to teach for one year and then go to law school to become a civil rights attorney. However, I fell in love in teaching! I taught special education grades K-6, then worked as an elementary program specialist and secondary coordinator.  Supporting students with disabilities has been my passion in education and HiPac ES is a perfect fit as it has three moderate to severe special day classes and a resource specialist program.

My focus for the school year is on rigorous & high quality instruction coupled with social-emotional-behavioral learning for all students.  Partnering with parents/guardians is vital to create a climate and culture that prioritizes safety with high academic performance.
