About Us

Highland Pacific Elementary School is nestled on the boundaries of San Bernardino and Highland. Highland Pacific Elementary School is a small school with less than 300 students, which allows for more individualized approach. School hours are 8:50 AM - 1:00 PM on Mondays and 8:50 AM - 3:30 PM Tuesday - Friday.  Students may arrive on campus at 8:30 AM.

We offer the Sunrise Program from 7:15 AM - 8:30 AM and Expanded Learning (or EXL, previously called CAPS) until 6:00 PM. All students eat breakfast in the classroom at 8:50 AM, during the morning introductory lesson, to ensure all students eat.  Students may bring their own breakfast if they'd like.  Students may participate in music, soccer, basketball, and softball during the school year.  Students may join student council or one of the many clubs offered. 

All students will learn college and career readiness skills through AVID, with upper graders keeping an agenda for home-school communication. Students and staff are encouraged to wear college shirts on Mondays and their school shirts on Fridays, or school colors red & black.
